Digital Boost

The Digital Boost program is a Scottish Government initiative to support SME growth through digital initiatives. Grants of between £5k and £20k may be awarded on a 50% shared funding basis to businesses that meet a set of criteria.

Project Scope

The program will support a range of different projects (see here for a complete list). Within the program scope, our focus is on the following types of projects.

  • Digital Consultancy - Identifying digital innovation in your business
  • Digital Consultancy - Developing a plan to digitise your business
  • Digital Consultancy - Implementing solutions to reduce (non-staff) operational costs
  • Developing an app - Defining and building a prototype solution
  • Developing an app - Building digital solution(s) to increase revenue/profitability
  • Websites for brochures / information - Design and build of interactive websites

Approach

Application process

The application process requires completion of a digital integration plan and an application form. The application form requires a quote from your supplier

Project Quote and Scope

After an initial conversation with you, we will create a proposal for the work to be carried out. This will highlight the opportunity, the activity and the intended outcomes of the project

Fast turnaround

The program operates on a first come, first served basis (for applications that meet the criteria). To support this, we will turn around proposals within very short timelines.
